Bravo sees us come through their doors fairly regularly. A large part of that is due to the restaurant being directly across the street from the Trinity Repertory Company’s theater, where we are season 
subscribers. It’s sort of a tradition that we get to Providence a bit early and stop in at Bravo for a pre-show drink, sometimes throwing in an appetizer. On this past weekend we decided to get there even earlier and have lunch. We’re glad we did.
As with most brasseries, the atmosphere at Bravo is open and congenial, and at times can be rather boisterous. We tend to sit at the inviting bar, but there are plenty of traditional tables as well along with four or so high

tops in the bar area. In warmer weather they set up additional tables outside. The selection of beer and wines is good. What’s also good is the menu, and there are a lot of choices for lunch. We opted for the veggie wrap and the Reuben sandwich, both with green salad on the side. You can have either fries or salad with most of the lunch options. I guess we were in a healthy frame of mind on this day. Cheri deemed the large veggie wrap the best she had ever had and no doubt will be back to get one again. My Reuben was quite tasty also.
Decadent cookies and cream dessert
There are also burgers, other sandwiches, wood fired pizza, traditional French classics and lots of appetizers available. Everything we had was good, and generally always has been when we come to Bravo. Don’t forget the desserts, as we opted for the Cookies and Cream which was large and decadent. If you’re in town, going to a show, or just looking for a place to go for lunch, dinner or brunch then Bravo is a good choice. They do valet park at dinner.
