Although Christmas is not yet here, it’s time to look forward a little bit to the Mohegan Sun wine and food event, held in January at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. This year the name gets a slight tweak, and it is now the Sun Wine & Food Fest, giving a bit more homage to the foodies of the world while maintaining the wine emphasis as well. Another more significant change is that the Sunday Grand Tasting is no more, with only a Saturday version. This event is still three days though, with some new things to do throughout, and with over 1000 wines, beers and spirits, along with signature dishes from world class chefs, there should be something for everyone. Here’s a short rundown of the possibilities.
