It’s April in New England, and winter refuses to let go. One way to push the cold weather out
of your mind is to think of happy times in warm sunshine, all in a beautiful setting on the edge of an expansive ocean view. We have a suggestion as to which thought to focus on, and it is the 2018 Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival, the best wine and food related event in the New England area, and all coming to Newport on September 20-23, 2018. This is worth penciling into your date book right now.
There will be wine, there will be food and lots of other amusements. Whatever your preference, you can find it

Hundreds of wines are poured throughout the four day event, including the Vintner Dinner, the Bordeaux Grand Cru Dinner, the Wine & Rosecliff Gala, Newport after Dark, a Jazz Brunch, the two Grand Tastings and the Seminars. You can pick one or pick them all. If you pick them all we strongly suggest a designated driver!
We’ll be covering the event in depth as usual, and hopefully will see you there. For those who are starting to think about planning a weekend getaway later this year, you might want to consider this festival. It is one of our favorite weekends of the year.
